The words of the hymn "Christ is the World's True Light",(seen in the center of the cross) are as true today as when they were written in 1931, as the world was teetering on the verge of WWII and the U.S. was sunk in the Great Depression. "In Christ all races meet, their ancient feuds forgetting", He said "I am the Alpha, and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." (Rev.22:13)
